All Tryouts are held at Boys and Girls Club Nampa 316 Stampede Dr, Nampa
We are one of the only clubs in the Treasure Valley who do not charge for players to tryout for our program. If you can not attend the dates below please contact us for a possible practice to attend in July as an alternate date for a tryout.
Tryouts for the 2025-2026 Season will be Saturday, July 26 with make up tryouts the following week on Monday and Tuesday.

Breakdown of Seasons
-Fall Skill Development Season is September through October for all ages. This season is optional and will have our Pace and Space League games for all players. Also, we will have local and travel tourneys on our schedule.
-Youth Team Season is November through first of March. Our Travel Teams will attend Youngblood League in January and February. Local teams will play in CTB.
-HS Teams and Youth Travel Team season is March through May and July
Club Description
The UpTempo Basketball Club is the premier skill development club in the Canyon County and we welcome players from all over the Treasure Valley to join our program. We are excited that this will be our 13th season helping players of all ages and skill sets achieve their basketball goals while growing as leaders in their respective schools and communities. We truly believe in offering all of our players and families a unique, affordable and high level basketball experience. Here are a few services we offer our players as well as some distinguishing characteristics that help our club stand out:
-All Club coaches have HS Varsity level coaching experience and/or College level playing experience.
-We keep our club costs well below the average costs of typical club programs but we go beyond that by offering Fundraiser opportunities to help you minimize or eliminate all financial costs for the season. Last year our players raised over $15,000 dollars during our fundraisers and 100% of the money raised went towards each player’s own personal club expenses!
-All of our teams get 2-3 practices per week at the Boys and Girls Club Nampa and are never separated. Our practices are the most organized and competitive practices in the Treasure Valley.
-We believe in inspiring our youth to set goals and dream big! We offer weekly inspirational material to our players, we have them set goals at the beginning of the year and at the beginning of practices, and we publicly praise their successes especially their success in academics!
-We offer monthly local tourney opportunities to all of our Youth and HS teams.
-We offer travel opportunities to all of our elite level HS teams and elite level Youth teams.
-Our Youth Travel Teams are a part of the Youngblood League in Utah
-We offer a Fall Skills Development season to all ages in our club to help players get ready for HS and Youth club seasons.
-We offer a Fall Tournament season to HS age players who will play 2 local tourneys in September and in October prior to their respective HS seasons which start in November. This is our 11th year of our Fall Season and we have helped a number of players go into the HS season performing at a very high level. We also offer non-contact development for Fall Sport players who wish to continue to develop their basketball skills while playing a Fall Sport.
-We offer notebook material during the season to all of our travel team and HS players. We place a heavy focus on helping develop high IQ basketball players.
Our ultimate priority is helping our players achieve their goals and dreams in any way we can! We look forward to seeing your son at tryouts and having him a part of the UpTempo Program!
